We test our products using the ELISA test (Enzyme-Linked Immuno-Sorbent Assay) for gluten.

Sunwarrior adheres to less than 20ppm as the threshold for gluten-free. Products that fall below this threshold will be labeled as gluten-free.

➡️ Our Clear Protein Refresh (all flavors) contain gluten due to the barley rice protein.

The barley grain contains the protein gluten, which can trigger the autoimmune response seen in people with celiac disease. Because of this, we DO NOT recommend this product to anyone with any gluten allergies, intolerances, sensitivities, etc. 

Our Clear Protein Refresh contains between 5 and 8 percent gluten and is an upcycled product meaning instead of wasting the by-product of the barley, we are upcycling it to provide another source of protein for those who do not have gluten allergies, intolerances, sensitivities, etc.

➡️ Our Ormus Supergreens and our Beauty Greens Collagen Booster contain wheatgrass. While wheatgrass is a wheat product, it does not contain gluten.

If you have a wheat allergy, then we would not recommend these products for you. However, if you are just gluten intolerant, then these products would be a safe choice. 

We harvest the wheatgrass while it is young, from the sprouts before they germinate. There is no risk for gluten intolerance nor celiac disease. This is how we can state it is gluten-free.
